ABOUT THIS STORY
Burdened by responsibility and trapped by routine, this ogre has lost his roar. In order to recapture his past as a real ogre, Shrek is tricked into striking a bargain with Rumpelstiltskin, trading a day from his life as part of the deal. But the fine print of the contract lands him in an alternate universe where he’s feared, all right, but he’s also never rescued Fiona or met Donkey, Puss in Boots, Gingy and all his fairytale friends. Now, to get back to reality and his family, Shrek has to find Fiona and defeat the devious Rumpelstiltskin before the deal expires.

This book was amazing! I really love shrek and I didnt expect this book to be that good but it was. Also amazing quality

This book was so much better than I Thought it would be. Does a good job Of re-telling the story pretty thoroughly But quick enough to keep my little one From losing interest or getting bored With it. I would have liked more real audio from the movie.

This was a great book and interactive for or 3 yr old. Nice work!

This was a great book my granddaughter loved it she read it four times in two hours.

Its very well done and super interesting for kids. My son is only two and a half and he really enjoys it.

Some bad moments

We loved this book for one day but after that sth happened and now its a blank screen whenever I load the app, can hear the narrator and pages turning but see a white screen. Disappointing

I thought I was buying an interactive story, but the interactivity is limited to just a few voices here and there. What a rip-off! At $3 this app is way too expensive because it has almost no value. Finding the puppet gets boring. Dont waste your time and money (like I did) and rent the actual movie instead.

This is a great book my daughter loves it. The 2 stars are only because on auto page turn you can interrupt it and flip around. My daughter does this because she get so excited she has to touch the screen. Please ad a young readers mode!! I will ad stars! Thank you

Okay, in full disclosure I have seen and enjoyed all the Shrek films with the second being the best and the last one is the weakest. Furthermore I know this is a movie tie-in so I shouldnt be surprised but I am disappointed. Some of the other story book apps feel so much more immersive and give the opportunity to explore the world of the story. Not this one. This one has two features not found in the movie: a narrator track and the ability to get a doll to squeak when you touch it. Even some of the head lining voice talent is lacking. Bottom line, if your child loves Shrek then this is enough. If not, save your money.

Tapped squeak on the front page and the video went south. Audio still works but isnt anything without the video.

Toy Story 3 is by far the best storybook reader app I have found! This one is ok. Love when u can record your own voice reading story. Please change.
